Loved both movies, enjoy how you get so invested in the characters. After this I looked up the movie Lady Snowblood (old Samaria revenge movie) Quentin based Lucy Lui’s character after the main character in that samurai movie. The end credits song (think English translation for the song is Flower of Carnage) was also performed by the lead actress from Lady Snowblood. I watched both movies as they came out in theaters. My parents realized I did not have nightmares from movies, but my brother did. So they let me watch horror movies and such with them when I was young.
