If you think way back to the first Iron Man movie, The Dude was played by the same actor who played Obidiah Stane, the former friend of Tony's who builds the big version of his suit, such a different character to this!. Jeff Bridges is a really great actor. And of course Marvel makes the callout in Endgame with Thor basically dressing up in the same robe & sunglasses "dude" attire when he's going through some stuff :)
