2023-06-27 23:52:11 +0000 UTCThere's a good part of anime originals in this episode, including the young Thorfinn and Thors scene. Ngl great additions to bring the emotions in the finale. Man there's so much I can talk about the amazing adaptation works throughout the S2. I really like they focused on Leif at the end of the reunion scene. The only scene that I found less impactful was in the manga Helga immediately recognised her son and came to him when we turned the page, while here they animated how she walked to him, imo there might be a better way to show it. I'm patiently waiting for the S3, hope they got plenty of time and budgets to animated my personal favorite arcs, the farmland arc was peak in terms of character development, but the incoming arcs will just bring everything great about Vinland Saga together, the story will again take off to another level! I can wait, but I can't wait at the same time lmao Btw, glad to see the tern in the last scene, that's a little hint of what's next, although we haven't seen THAT character yet XD
