I like the overall vibe/atmosphere the animation and art-style conveys. I'm also very excited to learn more about this Fake Holy Grail War, how it might differ from the previous ones, and the identities of all the servants! WHO ELSE IS READY FOR THIS ANIME?!

Not a single series made from this author has made me stick with the series for longer than 5 episodes, but i love fate so i hope he does it great.

Well honestly you can watch all of the Fate Grand Order arcs in order of: First Order, Camelot, Babylonia and finally Solomon, but Babylonia is Gil and Enkidu's arc. I like the story for Grand Order, it's just a shame they didn't make every arc in to anime form

Sometimes Adoption is also used because the one being adopted isn't the heir of the family, like Rin was, so Sakura was taken in to try to revive that bloodline, and we know how that went for them

2023-07-03 23:25:18 +0000 UTCI don't know if she is, but adoption is usually the last ditch effort is what I meant, like what happened w/ Kairi in Apocrypha, he adopted a kid, and she died cuz of the Curse on his family's Crest that they gained after doing a pact w/ a demon or w/e in exchange for getting basically god-tier Necromancy talent but after X amount of gens their Family Line becomes a deadend, and as he found out this applies to adoption as well, since it's the Family Crest itself that's contaminated, not the bloodline itself specifically. I assume she is their biological kid cuz why adopt someone on life support instead of a healthy person w/ decent Magic Circuits?

2023-07-03 18:52:14 +0000 UTCThe reproductive functions matter for the next in line after her, because Magic Circuit quality is affected by lineage to some degree, even if the actual research is only transferred after implanting the family's Crest to the chosen successor. So her having operational reproductive functions is vital for the stage that comes after this step in time (assuming they succeed that is, of course), because while yes some Families do adopt ppl as a last ditch effort in case of a dying out bloodline, those aren't necessarily guaranteed to have objectively superior Magic Circuits like a pureblooded family member usually would have. Since NOBODY KNOWS who Jack the Ripper is, the Heroic Spirit in a sense is in a constant flux, and will be relatively RNG per each Summon as to which type of iteration of Jack the Ripper (so think of there being like half a dozen or w/e most popular novels about Jack the Ripper, or at least conspiracy theories that are different from one another. Since Jack the Ripper was never found, this ambiguity enables all of these to manifest as long as they have a certain decree of popularity among the collective knowledge of Humanity as a whole Legend wise). Like Apocrypha Jack The Ripper took the form of one of the urban legends that it's the "ghosts" of the aborted infants by the street whores who started killing them, because of the type of shithole industrial age London was & all that. Strictly speaking Jack the Ripper in Apocrypha has no sex, as it's made out of hundreds of thousands of dead Souls of infants, both male & female aborted corpses, their representative of sorts is just whom the main visual of the incarnation is shaped after. Technically NONE of the Servants recorded on the Throne of Heroes is the "real" Jack the Ripper, since Humanity's collective consciousness doesn't actually know who the real "Jack the Ripper" was, since "he" is only known by the popularized gossip rag name given by sensationalists. Also you CAN Summon a Servant without a Catalyst, but this will practically be 100% RNG, usually the baseline is based on compatibility w/ Master personality, so it ignores everything else & 100% only focuses on as perfect as possible personality match to the Master, although some unique variables may affect things in addition to the Master's personality (and of course before this it accounts for any classes already taken before the Catalyst-less Summon happens, so it can only pull into the empty classes still available for new Masters at that point in pre-game set-up) Based on the fangs, that's most probably a Dead Apostle Ancestor (basically one of the 27 strongest Dead Apostles in Type-Moonverse), which are more common in the Tsukihime side of Type-Moon collective universe rather than in Fate side of things. They of course still sometimes get referenced, but usually what we see would at most be Dead Apostles, not Dead Apostle Ancestors, who are basically Humans converted by Dead Apostle Ancestors, i.e inferior in every possible way to DAAs. Oh and I suppose there's basically True Ancestors too who are separate as they are basically Vampires FROM SPACE, vs from Earth, so in total there's on generic level 3 variants of Vampires essentially. Basically Caster here is similar to Shakespeare in Apocrypha, but somewhat different (there's other Caster types like them as well, but they all have different variations based on their author lore recorded in the Throne as Heroic Spirits, despite all of em essentially being writer-type Caster Heroes essentially) as you can see. Unlike Shakespeare who specializes in shit like plays, this Caster specializes in PLAGIARISM, and as you can see from the dialogue, he is infamous for making plagiarism SUPERIOR to the original shit he plagiarized from (i.e he can Overwrite the legends of Heroic Spirits into some random fake shit because this type of plagiarism improvement is part of his Lore as recorded in the Throne of Heroes)

About Enkidu,I think you can learn more from Fate/Grand Order Babylonia anime,though it needs some knowledge of the game FGO ,but not too much.At the begining Gilgamesh intended to become child Gil using the youth potion cause he didn't take the Fake War seriously. As for Flat,he is a Real Super Genius. The girl who talked with the police chief mentioned that this war "will sublimate from fake to real as long as one more Servant is summoned",that means the Saber. These are the explanations to some questions of this OVA.The other questions may include some spoilers so I think it's better not to say much. (I'm not a native speaker of English so some of my expressions or words may not accurate to some extent,hope it doesn't cause some misunderstandings)
