I wonder if that will continue in Episode 2 and beyond or if it was strictly used to represent our MC's change from depressed and overwhelmed to ecstatic and feeling free. Who else loved this first episode?

2023-07-10 21:34:16 +0000 UTCI cracked a lot of jokes about ohtori cause she was sleeping with the boss. While yeah there could be more to the story. Since the anime didn’t tell us it doesn’t matter. I’ll take the info as i was given it. So i still judge the MC for going back for her. In a zombie apocalypse I ain’t going for no one That being said I’m iffy about the series and i hope future episodes make it more enjoyable

Her saying the things she did in that moment could have been due to it being working hours or she was using it as an excuse not to deal with him which then I'd definitely say she's being forced. I agree that it would probably be him blackmailing her or using his authority in some manner, but at the same time you never know. I guess it doesn't matter much considering they're all dead and/or zombies now. XD

As sleazy as the CEO is and how that company operates, I wouldn't have been surprised if she was blackmailed into submitting to him for her job at the risk of possibly losing it and being blacklisted across the industry, so I was a bit more sympathetic to her. Didn't seem like it was completely by choice to me
