2023-07-29 00:36:00 +0000 UTCOK I think I can continue what I said last episode...it's not spoiler now Fushiguro is definitely one of the strongest in the series who can easily defeat a special class curse spirit,and you can say he is the Perfect Complete Form of Maki.Because his body draws a clear line to curse energy(he has zero curse energy),he gains Innate resistance to curse energy.If Gojo doesn't learn the reverse technique and get the power of Purple(it hurts with imaginary mass,not pure curse energy),he can't do much damage to Fushiguro. And about this curse spirit,Geto didn't absorb it successfully cause it has a pact with Fushiguro.Geto learned it and with this information,he developed the plan of killing Okkotsu in movie 0. After this event,Geto got this curse spirit and the curse tools inside its body,including the three section cudgel——Playful Cloud.It's a weapon belonged to Zen'in and Fushiguro took it with him,then Geto got it and used it against Okkotsu in movie.After 0 event Jujutsu High and Zen'in regained it so Megumi can use it in S1. And I have to say that Geto's way of using curse spirits in this episode is just like Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon. And for Megumi's name,Fushiguro remembered this after saying 'blessing',because in Chinese character or Japanese kanji,Megumi has a meaning of 'bless' or 'God's mercy'. Fushiguro said Zen'in rejected him,but more exactly,most sorcerers in Zen'in feared him. Gojo said 'kill these guys',and Geto stopped him——Geto was still using some rules to fight against his own will——he wanted to kill those guys too

2023-07-27 21:57:08 +0000 UTCHe revived himself like Jesus had done. I get the reference is meant to be Buddha, but that doesn't mean one can't get a different interpretation from it. At the end of the day, my point was the dude seems almost divine during this episode. As if he changed and saw something beyond everyone else comprehension. I loved the spirit gun reference from Geto. It was amazing. Yeah, I was a bit hype during this, so I wasn't thinking about her not being able to be assimilated. I was more wondering what is going to happen next over all.

2023-07-27 21:45:15 +0000 UTCNice remark on Geto's reigan reference, we may talk YYHS influences in detail in JJK after next episode xd Gojo is not Jesus or God lol, the symbolisms here are all buddhism: his poses, the eagle, lotus and butterfly, his quote etc. . Gojo is Buddha itself at this point, which is very interesting since in this episode we had talked about the conflits between buddhism and jujutsu in Japan. What I really appreciated in this episode is MAPPA added extra scenes to show Riko's corpse to Geto and viewers, it hit even harder than in the manga and made me realise better how this was impactful to Geto. No, a corpse couldn't be assimilated by Tengen, if that didn't change the outcome they wouldn't bother do anything about her xd.

2023-07-27 21:42:17 +0000 UTCYeah, I get that. His senses are enhanced. My point was he uses things such as scent, footprints, etc to track people since he has no cursed energy but enhanced senses. Where the sorcerers will sometimes leave behind other ways to track them beside cursed energy because they aren't typically thinking about those things in this line of work. As he stated, there are other ways to track people besides tracking cursed energy.
