2023-08-08 11:14:07 +0000 UTCI remember in the manga comments someone said that Jujutsu High should have a psychotherapist because the path of jujutsu sorcerer is full of pain and normal human will definetly suffer some psychological harm....And that's why the principal asked Itadori why he wanted to be a jujutsu sorcerer and if it's his own will.

Now that the backstory of Geto is wrapped up, I can finally tell you that the character is inspired by Sensui in YYHS, which is confirmed by Akutami himself. If you look closely, they both were originally at the "good side", protected the weak humans, lost their faith facing the ugliness of human nature and went to the dark path, even their objective are somewhat similar. In some extent, Akutami did an extended fan fiction of how things went wrong with Sensui/Geto, which in YYHS Togashi only mentioned summarily.
