2023-12-05 23:32:56 +0000 UTCThought so. Pretty cool inspiration. I like Airachnid's design more, I think. I know BW show up in the Netflix trilogy, but that was due to time travel. I didn't know it was common for them to show up in other media, though. Interesting.

2023-12-05 23:20:35 +0000 UTCYou're right, Airachnid is based on Blackarachnia. However, it's not unheard of for Beast Wars characters to appear in other Transformers media. In Transformers Animated, both Blackarachnia and Waspinator made recurring appearances as secondary badguys. I don't actually know why they chose not to just name her Blackarachnia.
