2024-01-03 23:29:23 +0000 UTCYes, yes it does. I mean, most of the main characters are new, though many Prime characters make guest appearances in certain episodes. Sadly, none of the human characters appear in RID, so no Agent Fowler or Miko, etc. (I think their VAs were unavailable or something IDK). The new human allies are okay, but nothing spectacular (I'd say, on par with Spike Witwicky from G1). But most of the new Decepticons are really cool and show off just how diverse Cybertonian life really is.

It's not as dark as Prime and yeah, there are some cheesy moments, but overall, I really liked. If nothing else, I think you'll like the main villain of the series, he's kind of a fan favorite.
