I've served in some really nasty places in my 21 years as an Infantryman in the US Army. Somehow, out of all that time, I ended up with 57 months in 'combat zones', with 11 years not being spent on the continental United States. Tell you right now, I have zero clue how those men survived in WWII. The strength required, mentally, physically, and emotionally, is insane. It's one of the reasons I get irritated when Americans try to say they're the 'Next Greatest Generation'. Not even close in my mind. People were made of pure granite and iron back then.

There is another episode that most people say is the hardest, but because what happens is so personal in those episodes they hit the hardest. Still, there's another episode that will probably destroy you.
