My favorite Tom Cruise film, cause it features him in an antagonistic light. And there' s part of me that believes that Vincent does not NOT want to kill Max, cause he sees him as sort-of the kind-of friend he has never had, despite all the chances he had to shoot/kill him throughout the entire film. So in other words, I believe that there is a deep part of Vincent that WANTS Max to shoot him. At least that is my personal opinion
