It’s time for Round 3 of our Member-Pitched Story Poll!
As you know, we’re shaking up the Sunday rotation with a little something different — shortstories written by me, based on YOUR delicious ideas.

We had a fantastic response, and with 12 strong pitches submitted, we’re breaking them into three rounds of voting. The winner from each round will be written by me and posted on a Sunday sometime in late August or throughout September.

Same rules apply as last time:
✅ These are shorter stories (aiming for ~7K words)
✅ They’ll be one-shots, not long slow-burn series
✅ I’ll write the winning entry from scratch, based on the idea and character briefs

🛠 Story 1 - The Renovation Show
Jess and Tom are the perfect young couple, gym-fit and deeply in love, but months of IVF have quietly strained their bond. During the three-day filming of a major home makeover show, Tom works downstairs while Jess spends long hours upstairs with Malachi — the tall, silent, gym-hardened Black builder transforming their master bedroom. Exhaustion, hormones, and Malachi’s calm dominance push Jess into his arms, with the cameras catching more than planned. Three months later, the episode airs to rave reviews, Jess is pregnant, and Tom no longer lives in the home they rebuilt.

🦇 Story 2 - Dark Knight in Sinsinnati
After 30 years of carefully planting the seeds of desire, a husband watches as his wife meets a former USMC Captain for what was meant to be a casual dinner. Instead, the night turns into a weekend of unrestrained lust. From his computer screen, he witnesses her engage in acts wilder and more intense than he ever imagined, unable to look away from the woman he thought he knew.

🎭 Story 3 - The Cosplay Curse
Married twenty-somethings Justin and Ruth enter a cosplay competition. Ruth wins, and runner-up Tyrese joins them for the convention’s after-party, with hotel rooms included. After Justin falls asleep drunk, Ruth follows Tyrese to his room for life-changing sex. Justin wakes, hears her cries, and watches from the doorway, torn between heartbreak and arousal. Months later, Ruth’s cosplay has a new sexual edge — and her personal account shows off her Black baby with Tyrese.

🍝 Story 4 - A Spice of Life
A year into marriage, Ross admits his fantasies to his wife Jessica, whose curiosity quickly turns to desire. On their anniversary trip to Italy, a charming Black cab driver named Daniel crosses their path. Confident and smooth, he tempts Jessica into exploring Ross’s hotwife fantasies, with Ross watching as she discovers a new side of herself in the backseat — and beyond.
