Thought I'd try showing my steps in animnated GIF form! Do you guys prefer this method or just having them shown in steps like the previous Step by Step process?
I sketched this commission on stream and had some great ideas given to me by the views.
Once I showed the piece to the client I had to edit her face and switch out the Tonberry for a Mammet.
Then the rest is self explanitory. I went into rough color and lighting and sent it for approval. Then I sent further colors and lighting for approval. Normally at that point I'd be done, but I accidently saved my file incoorctly and sort of had to really paint the rest of the image in differently than I normally do. Ended up being a slower process >< But I did manage to learn some new paint and lighting techniques! Was so fortunate to have a patient commissioner!! ToT
