Yesterday we launched the Perfect Sense back into the water after almost 11 months on the hard, with her new teak deck, dark blue hull color and black Finsulate Antifouling she is a real head turner again.
It was such a special feeling to see her back in the water again and yes she is floating and no seawater coming in. Because the keel was off all the time she was on the hard the whole technical team of the boatyard was present to check and double check everything.
We have to wait before we can step the mast on her, we are waiting for some essential small parts but they got stuck in customs and now we have to pay 800 euros just for custom duties, time to figure out another way around.
We are here almost 90 days and we reached the maximum amount of days so Rianne will apply for a residence permit so she can stay longer together with Lilly in Turkey and Benjamin and I take the penalty the moment we check out. This is the downside of being in Turkey, a lot of paperwork and bullshitbingo regarding being in Turkey with your car, boat, family and longer than 90 days.
Tomorrow we will launch our new Episode where we will enter Turkey, so we are almost 3 months behind with our videos, but don't worry, we will catch up pretty soon ;)
