Dear FtB Family,

Welcome to our simple life and the final stops of sailing Turkey. We get the question often what it takes to live a simple life? And we ask ourselves what is simple living. Is it a minimalist way of living, and could living on a sailboat qualify as such? Or sailing life is for us, slow living. We depend on the wind and living one with nature.

Although sailing the seas can be everything but simple or slow. We do think that living close to nature does make things more simple. And living on the sea can make it complex too. But our last days of coastal sailing Turkey are over, at the moment we are heading for Malta. We made it all the way from Turkey to Crete and the last leg is about 450 NM which means 5-6 days at sea without network so close to Mother Nature and no distractions, just sailing West.
