@Maarek I think you’re plain wrong about the polling stuff The ‘errors’ are mainly driven by methodologies you need to use to sample people, and peoples attitudes - Even if you’re absolutely neutral and wanted to get the pure truth you will have a ton of error in most of the polls. Market research is just full of examples of this if you try to do it practically - like you want to figure out the favourite ice cream flavour of 10 year olds, or favourite colour of 40 year old women to design clothes. You could try three methodologies, each would be skewed a certain way and none of them exactly the truth. The only exception maybe is if you do a census which you can’t do for political polling - except Election Day with high turn out which is basically that - it tells you what the electorate felt minus the people who stayed home.
