On the prison stuff- one of the fastest growing prison gangs in the PNW is the Hells Angels because white guys can join it and not get racial grief (last I checked).

An analogy that comes to mind is it almost seems like a proxy war. The chuds are Russia, white liberals are the GAE sending the Ukrainians ( PoC) to get their hands dirty doing the things they think they're above doing (or too cowardly)
