KG Patreon 2.0

It's been a rocky few months, and after acknowledging some important personal things I feel like the best thing to do before the new year starts is overhaul how I handle things here on Patreon. 

I am incredibly grateful for the help and support of everyone who has been part of this operation for the past couple of years, and I am very sorry to anyone who feels slighted or inconvenienced by these changes I am about to explain. The biggest reason for making these changes is for the sake of managing my workload better and making things easier on my mental health going forward. I don't feel like I can properly produce content anymore unless I make these changes.

Starting tomorrow next year I will no longer be accepting requests through Patreon. The $5 Request Tier is being changed into one that offers a discount on future Commissions, though I have not figured out how much that discount is, or how often I am going to be accepting new commissions.

Instead I am going to move forward with character polls. While I might take some nominations from time to time, most of the polls will be curated by me, and I will be deciding on which characters Patrons will vote on for me to draw. Most importantly, it will be a priority to design each poll around specific themes so that none of the polls feel terribly one-sided.

I feel like this is a step in the right direction in making this a much better experience for everyone, especially for myself. This is something I can get behind that I won't end up feeling overwhelmed on when the bubble becomes too large, as has been the case for a long time now. I hope everyone is okay with this and still willing to stand by me as I work towards having a more consistent and higher quality work output.
