It's starting to take me longer to scratch down each page because I have to put more thought into getting the tension right, since it's finally starting to ramp up. It's harder than I thought it would be; the size/placement of the panels and the angle of the shots are even more important than I thought they would be, in terms of reading flow. And I knew they were important in the first place. I guess I just thought it would be easier to figure out what I need to do to figure it out. But hey, practice will make me better at it for future comics.
