July 2023 Update

This month, Sylv will become a scorpion! πŸ¦‚ It'll be the first time they've featured in a monthly comic.  I enjoyed having a biome-specific set of prompts, so I'm gonna keep that going!  This month's theme is the Amazon rainforest, featuring the river dolphin, piranha, Marmoset, Tapir, and Poison Dart Frog.

I mentioned this last month but never got around to posting about it: I'm going to set up a neat little poll to have you guys help me come up with a new character.  Expect to see more about that soon!

I've deleted a few things from my Furaffinity gallery to abide by their new terms.  These submissions can now be found on a few other websites:

Newgrounds

Weasyl

I thought it would be weird to only post those pieces, so I've been taking the time to upload the majority of the rest my gallery as well.  I've been using Postybirb to make it easier, but it's still a lot of juggling, so hopefully I've tagged and labeled everything correctly in the rush.  If y'all see anything I messed up on please let me know!  I'm honestly a little stressed about it but don't have the time or energy to take the utmost care.

I've posted some stuff on Inkbunny, but apparently NSFW artwork of humans is strictly not allowed.  Which is slightly baffling to me, but oki doki!!  Will probably post there minimally in the future.

I've also been posting to Pixiv, but my gallery is unfinished because I've been taking the time to translate things into Japanese and censoring things according to the site's guidelines and I haven't gotten around to posting everything.  I've been having fun flexing the 9 years of studying Japanese I did in grade school that I haven't touched since.  I remember a surprising amount of it!

I ordered myself a new laptop.  It was time.  I'll set aside a day to transfer all my files and programs and stuff.  Drawing will be a bit easier when I'm using a computer that can handle photoshop without lagging.

Lastly, I'm considering lowering the prices of my lower tiers, most likely to $1 and $3, respectively.  $3 and $5 are a bit higher than most artists charge for their lower tiers, and I don't feel like I post enough to warrant that.  Not that I don't think artists should charge what they want rather than based on what others are charging, but I'm hoping it'll help bring new patrons in as well.  That's more important to me than the money, anyway!
