2018-03-15 04:56:41 +0000 UTCGlad you guys are enjoying it. Midoriya is his last name. His first name is Izuku. But, Katsuki(first) Bakugou(last name) or Kacchan as Midoriya calls him also calls Midoriya: Deku which will be explained later. Season 2 is where the show gets even better.

2018-03-14 18:51:16 +0000 UTCIzuku is his given name and Midoriya is his surname. So in Japanese order his full name would be Midoriya Izuku, but the subtitles use the western convention of given name first, surname last so the subtitles will say Izuku Midoriya.
