2018-04-09 13:59:46 +0000 UTCI think the best way to view Kovac's sister is like this: she grew up in a house filled with emotional and physical abuse. She formed an unhealthy dependence on her brother when they were kids. In a way they were both kinda codependent because their only safe refuge was each other. Now whenever Takeshi forms relationships with other people her worldview of "us against the world" gets shattered and she does whatever it takes to reestablish their initial relationship, which to her is the safest place they can be. I don't think it's romantic but it's certainly unhealthy and has led her to value no one else's life but her brother's.

In this world, when you go to jail you just get your stack downloaded to a hard drive and your body gets lent out or sold out by the government which is how Takeshi got his body. So Ryker is def still alive and is wrongfully in jail after Dimi the Twin framed him. Once he's acquitted, he will most likely be entitled to get his original body back.
