To your question of "why are the students getting in trouble after helping bring down Stain", it only seems unfair because we the audience know the characters as the protagonists, we know how good they are and as a (shonen) anime we know it almost always goes well for the heroes. But for the in-universe police force, having a bunch of students trying to go toe-to-toe with a notorious serial killer is reckless vigilantism that could end horribly for the reputation of UA & the pro hero mentors if any of them got killed. Imagine if someone who's in the process of getting their gun license tries to go out and stop a wanted criminal. If something goes wrong and they end up hurting/killing a hostage by accident that opens up a whole new can of worms. If Midoriya & Todoroki hadn't shown up, Iida would've died for sure and Manual would've gotten in serious trouble even though Iida acted on his own.

My hero is definitely a phenomenon, even if there are plenty of hate ready to try and derail it. Its a well written story that studio bones animated beautifully.

Heroes kind og feel like super powered Police officers, trying to take down super powered criminals, just more in the spotlight and with an image to maintain, some want to save people which is similar to being a doctor/fire an type of deal and others want to fight kind of like a Black Ops/Police thing, though in MHA universe the Police seem to be making the arrests and doing detective work so the Heroes can patrol, and go out to save people like first responders to a situation

The people think Stain is associated with the league of villains. Thus, the league is gonna get a lot of support from villains who either follow Stain or believe that the league is a group that could make them stronger.

I think the villain with all the stitches around his face is going to be your new Justin.

So glad that you guys are really starting to delve into the real story of MHA. Of course it’s about Deku and his journey but it’s also about this systematic hero society that can be connected to irl. On the surface MHA is simple but there is a complex story once you get in there.

I think the reason so many villains are appearing now is because they also believe in what stain believed in. Basically they're his new followers who want to continue his will and plan to join the league of villains. Stain wasn't a member of the league of villains but because that report caught Shigaraki on the tower, I think the media associated the two (League of Villains & Stain) so now the new villains want to join the same organization they think stain was a part of. Great reactions!

The comparison to All Might is key for your ending. All Might inspires heros to be better. Stain inspires villains in the same way, but evil.
