Ragnar’s deity is Odin who was the God amongst gods. Likewise, Zeus was the lord of lords of the Greek pantheon. I believe that the Bible names YHWH as the lord of lords in order to proclaim Him above all other gods. Which is a term they, the Israelites, picked up in Persia under exile since Persian god-Kings were called Shahenshah meaning king of kings. Just neat little factoid.

2018-05-31 05:29:47 +0000 UTCHey for those of you who like Lagertha’s character Ragnar’s wife and thinks she is a bad ass, cool fact about Lagertha the person who plays her Katheryn Winnick is a bad ass in real life as well as in the show she is an accomplished martial artist who holds a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and a second-degree black belt in Karate and by twenty-one she had founded and owned three martial arts schools before becoming an actress which for me makes her and her character even more of a bad ass and makes me like here even more than I already do.

2018-05-31 03:15:13 +0000 UTCWhere were Rollo and Ragnar's buddies during the attack you ask? Good question. Ragnar lives in a tiny fishing/farming village outside of the main town. The main town is called Kattegat where the Earl lives. Ragnar only has a couple of neighbors and none of those people seem like warriors. I'm guessing that Ragnar's friends either live in Kattegat or in other scattered villages. So they would have been way to far to help in that moment.
