yes sir! https://www.patreon.com/posts/rope-origin-2-105479527

Gary

can i buy it directly

usuanleleefosa@gmail.com

Please send me a link to the discord. I can understand if there are prerequisites, but I purchased this post under the assumption that everything required would be included in the installer. If there are pre-requisites, that should be included as part of the instructions

Jackson Vu

You have to have your system set up properly to run AI software. That includes software like git, miniconda, and python. If you want to come over to the discord I'll either help you out or give you a refund.

Gary

Absolutely awful install instructions, could not figure it out. Please provide a refund, this installer straight up doesn't work with the provided instructions

Jackson Vu

hi.. youll need to make sure that your system is properly set up and then everything will install for you. Run this free system checker and send me the results and we'll work on tgetting you set up correctly: https://www.patreon.com/posts/automated-system-117200313

Gary

hi, it's just giving me this now: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'torch' what should I do? thank you

Christian

Thanks got the version updated and added the path Python 3.10.11 is now showing as the current version

Jimbo Browne

Okay that's your problem. You need to have 3.10.11. do you know how to use your environmental variables? You need to go in and make sure that python 3.10 is at the top of the list.

Gary

Python 3.12.7

Jimbo Browne

Okay.. log into the discord and I'll be home in a little bit and will take a look. In the meanwhile go to your command line terminal and type: python --version Let me know what it says

Gary

Still getting the same error

Jimbo Browne

Thanks will try it out and get back

Jimbo Browne

so its most likely because you dont have python installed .. OR you have Python > 3.12 installed. Heres a link for python 3.10.11 .. uninstall any other versioni you have and install this: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.11/python-3.10.11-amd64.exe

Gary

Hey, I am getting the following error, need a fix/solution for the same: C:\Users\****\Downloads\Rope-Origin-v1-installer>cd rope-origin C:\Users\****\Downloads\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin>call python Rope.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\****\Downloads\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin\Rope.py", line 3, in from rope import Coordinator File "C:\Users\****\Downloads\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin\rope\Coordinator.py", line 4, in import torch File "C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\torch\__init__.py", line 229, in from torch._C import * # noqa: F403 ImportError: DLL load failed while importing _C: The specified module could not be found. C:\Users\***\Downloads\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin>pause Press any key to continue . . .

Jimbo Browne

Thanks so much for this! Just grabbed it and its working great - I used to use Roop, and I really loved that I could create a faceset with multiple images of a face for more accurate swaps. Is this a thing with Rope at all? It seems like it can just use a single pic, is that correct?

谢谢

key you

Oh yeah that's because we're mostly a Windows environment here. However you should be able to install it just by following the same directions.. everything is basically a git clone and pip installs. You could also just take the .bat file and give it to Chachi PT and ask it to convert it into a sh file

Gary

I'm using ubuntu, and I've looked at the github repositories, but there doesn't seem to be a tutorial for installing Linux

key you

If you're on Windows you can use the WSL. I have a ease of use installer here on the site that you can do a search for that makes it much easier

Gary

How should Linux be installed?

key you

I had this exact problem but found a solution that is working fine. I first needed to ensure Miniconda and CUDA were installed prior to the download. He has a video on his channel detailing miniconda installation so follow it. For CUDA I have Nvidia so I downloaded the 11.8 version as is suggested in this install. I used a custom install for this part as all I was interested in was the CUDA module (so I didnt use the express install). Also I should add NVSE gave me problems so I unchecked that box under the dropdown for the CUDA Module. Once this was installed it was mostly a matter of configuring my environmental variables to adequately direct the operating system to locate the executables and scripts. My situation may be slightly different from your as it pertains to this part but a general guide will be the error codes that may appear during the download. If you see something that states not an "internal" or "external" command then chances are that you need to go to your advanced settings and manipulate your environmental variables to direct them to the proper pathing. This assumes you in fact have the proper files located on your computer somewhere. With python, Miniconda and CUDA installed and pathways adequately defined then this program should work.

sometimes the system holds a charge.. if you've paid, then the system might be verifying your payment method. If thats the case then watch for an email from Patreon

Gary

the system says you joined as free member today at 12:01. THere has been no sale.

Gary

i already paid for it can you send it to me ?

Sales Info

Okay glad you got it figured out. Have fun!

Gary

Wasn't windows issue, it was a vpn issue. Got it now, thanks

User

It has nothing to do with the patreon site. I'm telling you the answer. The answer is that your window security is deleting your file. I've had issues with this sort of thing with other files. You have to change your security settings if you want it down. The easiest way that I can get that to work for you is for you to talk to chat GPT. Guaranteed this is a windows security issue

Gary

It's because your Windows machine is blocking it. Ask GPT how to allow it to be downloaded.

Gary

The file does not download, it says its 3.2kb and when you click to download and save the file it starts to download then removes itself.

User

Now it work after formatting my computer but when i try to record and play i receive this error : C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer>call conda activate rope-origin Exception in Tkinter callback Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\stand\.conda\envs\rope-origin\lib\tkinter\__init__.py", line 1921, in __call__ return self.func(*args) File "C:\Users\stand\.conda\envs\rope-origin\lib\tkinter\__init__.py", line 839, in callit func(*args) File "C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin\rope\Coordinator.py", line 49, in coordinator vm.play_video(action[0][1]) File "C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin\rope\VideoManager.py", line 370, in play_video self.sp = subprocess.Popen(args, stdin=subprocess.PIPE) File "C:\Users\stand\.conda\envs\rope-origin\lib\subprocess.py", line 971, in __init__ self._execute_child(args, executable, preexec_fn, close_fds, File "C:\Users\stand\.conda\envs\rope-origin\lib\subprocess.py", line 1456, in _execute_child hp, ht, pid, tid = _winapi.CreateProcess(executable, args, FileNotFoundError: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified

Jason Roberto

Does it give you any hint?

Jason Roberto

No, not as admin. In the installer i get two errors, first is : Expand-Archive : The path 'C:\\ropemodels.zip' either does not exist or is not a valid file system path. At line:1 char:1 + Expand-Archive -Path 'C:\\ropemodels.zip' -DestinationPath 'Rope-Orig ... + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (C:\\ropemodels.zip:String) [Expand-Archive], InvalidOperationException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : ArchiveCmdletPathNotFound,Expand-Archive ------------------------ Second error is: Step 10: Installing dependencies with pip ERROR: Could not open requirements file: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'requirements.txt' [notice] A new release of pip is available: 23.0.1 -> 24.3.1 [notice] To update, run: python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip Virtual environment set up successfully. Step 11: Cleaning up Installation process completed. 'deactivate' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Press any key to continue . . . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- And when i launch RUN i get this : C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer>call conda activate rope-origin CondaError: Run 'conda init' before 'conda activate' C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer>cd rope-origin C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin>call python Rope.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin\Rope.py", line 3, in from rope import Coordinator File "C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin\rope\Coordinator.py", line 4, in import torch ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'torch' C:\Rope-Origin-v1-installer\rope-origin>pause Press any key to continue . . .

Jason Roberto

So for some reason it looks like the files aren't downloading. Make sure your left clicking on the installer and not running it as an admin.
