"Shouldn't we help him?" "No, he loves to tread water." Taken out of its literal context of the painting and applied to the way people think they want to change but often fall back into their usual patterns of behavior. Not really moving forward just treading water.

I wasn't in the happiest place in my life when i first watched this show and was really invested in if he could get past his issues to change things. Todd's understanding of Bojack was mature yet sad. It was also sweet how you guys got emotional at the parenting parts. I guess now that you've gotten to the first of the penultimate episodes i'll let you know you can always try to be on something for them, they are usually a trip of some kind!
