That didn't bothered me as much. But why is it based on misogyny? People would've hated it even if she had done it to her mother and if Tenzin were a woman. When I see people complain about Korra I see mostly comments about the plot and the way the story went. Not because of her being a woman or anything like that.

With that in mind, you're unfortunately gonna have a predisposition towards this season from the get go. Could be a good thing, or could be a bad thing. Idk we'll see. One thing i will say is that while season 1 stands on it's own as a great one season story, and does not really tie in too much. Season 2 essentially begins the real story of Legend of Korra. Season 2, 3, 4 all connect to each other.
