Despite there being only audio, it was still enjoyable with yall commentary😅 finally season 1 is complete, I know its a weird ending but nick was weird with the creators and giving em limited time sadly. season 2 is gon be interesting

The quick wrap up can be blamed on the team believing they only had these twelve episodes to work with, which is why Korra got her bending back so quickly, they had to get the entire story wrapped up within this one episode. At the time of making this finale, they didn't know there was going to be a season 2, let alone a season 3 and 4.

I am so glad you guys enjoyed this. It's refreshing to have reactors not hate on this show. It has it's issues for sure but not as bad as people say it is.

So on her unlocking the Avatar state so suddenly there's two main reasons for it happening, one being production related and the other being a pretty widely accepted fan theory. On the production side they were initially only given one season and so had to wrap EVERYTHING up by the end, hence why it felt a little rushed. On Korra actually unlocking the AS, the prevailing theory is that she intended to kill herself at the cliff. The three big reasons for this are that the scene literally just before it showed a suicide, that Korra's teardrop fell off the edge of the cliff, indicating she was looking straight down and contemplating jumping, and finally Aang's comment on "hitting our lowest point", which can be interpreted as suicidal intensions. Seeing as Korra's journey this season has been about not seeing herself as a fully realised Avatar, the fact she now can't even bend all four elements could make her think that she's better off letting the next Avatar take her place. Of course she's a fictional character so none of this is confirmed, but definitely makes the end hit harder for me when looking at it this way. Such a sad episode to lose the video for but still so glad we got the audio, can't wait for season 2!

I appreciate what people are trying to do defending against the horde of YouTube drones, but I wish people would let them find things out for themselves. Every single reactor gets the same lead up and explanations from the commentors and it's getting boring watching all these reactors get pigeonholed.

So here's a little back story. Originally, this series was only supposed to have one season. But Nickelodeon requested more. Which is why it felt so conclusive. Season 1 happens to be one of my favorites of the four. And now ... on to season 2. We're gonna have a lot to discuss.

Great reaction gals and I would've loved to see your tears of joy 😂 and something you should know about this ending is that the writers thought this was the only season. So this was kind of the series finale. Nickelodeon really screwed over the writers a lot and this was just the tip of the iceberg. Im about to watch your book 2 premiere reaction right now and im exited to shed more insight on the "worst" book of the show.
