Attack on Titan 1x25 "THE WALL!!!!!!!" REACTION!!

wasn't the fiery mode thing more Eren's regeneration going into insane overdrive? Titans have already been shown to be unnaturally warm, see Hange burning her hand when touching Eren's titan arm.

Just wondering have they stated if they are going into season 2 without watching the Ova? Im wondering if i should expect a shit storm on the youtube comment section

There's some things about this finale that I always want to clear up for people watching the anime for the first time otherwise I feel like it leaves them confused or unsure of things. 1. Eren's fiery rage mode that he had in this episode wasn't in the manga and is an anime only edition. At the time when the studio was making season 1 the manga hadn't gotten very far in terms of story and they were unsure of whether they'd even make a season 2. They didn't even expect Attack On Titan to explode so much worldwide like it did. Therefore for the sake of finishing the season off with a bang they gave Eren this cool flashy powerup however because of this it creates an inconsistency since the power is never explained and will never come up again. That also includes Annie's titan fusing with Eren. And Eren saying he was gonna destroy the world and trying to eat Annie etc. They were all anime editions I guess just to make it cooler and more epic. In the manga Eren is in complete control of his titan and is calm the entire time. 2. Another anime edition is that Levi swooped into save Eren which didn't make much sense since he was injured from his fight with the female titan and wasn't in good enough condition to use the maneuver gear. Plus Erwin ordered him to stay put. In the manga he stayed put but looked visibly frustrated since he wasn't able to fight. It's a little detail but I thought it's better pointing out since it correlates with next season. 3. Eren in the manga didn't destroy buildings and run through them whilst fighting Annie. In the manga like I said he's in complete control and is careful in how he fights. So I genuinely don't get why the anime made Eren so careless and destructive, they made Annie who was supposed to be the villain here look far more sympathetic than Eren since she was avoiding civillian deaths whilst Eren didn't seem to care. That also includes the scene where Eren goes into that anime rage mode and flattens tons of people on the ground by tackling Annie.

It should be noted that Eren going Super Saiyan and going on fire was an anime only thing. Didn't happen in the manga. Was cool af tho. Or hot. Whatever lol.

Same. I waited for like a year or two before going "fuck it, i'm reading the manga". Don't regret it at all as the manga is amazing, especially right now, but i have true respect for those who stuck out those 5 years without reading the manga lol.

It may be a good idea to watch the Attack on Titan OVAs 4 & 5 (titled No Regrets Part 1 & 2) before starting Season 2 and especially before starting Season 3. They are really good and contain some important information.
