I think it's pretty funny how interested you are in Killua from just seeing his character in the outro, hahaha. One of the things that make this such a great show is the character developement and the writing in general. Your going to hear a lot of "It starts slow but you just wait" comments. But it's really just good writing. You need context and I love how eventually all of your original reactions from these early episodes will get addressed. This is legitimately one of the most well thought out shows you are ever going to watch. Wether that means it will become one of your favorites remains to be seen. But you definitely won't be disapointed.

Seems like Abi was in the same boat as me as someone who loved yuyu hakusho and didn't immediately watch Hunter x Hunter because they saw gon and just assumed it was kiddy but it's actually hard for me to pick one because I love them both so much now

Is it a spoiler to say it's the same song for the entire run but just the opening animation changes I wouldn't want them to get disappointed expecting multiple songs but tbh I'm not sure if I ever skipped the opening I love that song so much

You will be surprised with this anime, at first it looks childish and it was one of my reasons why I had never seen it before but it was a pleasant surprise to be completely wrong. One of the best I've seen.
