Thanks for clearing that up because I was wondering which one was more accurate. I've seen all of FMA and didn't LOVE it or anything. I'm only half way through FMAB but the character development is MUCH better. Makes sense if it's actually folowing the manga.

I haven't even seen someone react to the sub version of this yet, which is weird to me. I too only watched the origanal FMA until recently. I'm only like 32 episodes in. It's pretty interesting the changes. I only remember the major plot points from the original. But I've had a really hard time motivating myself to watch this for some reason. It's definitly better writting. The character developement is much better. I had a hard time caring for the characters in FMA. This is better.

So sorry to go slightly off track (abi brought it up 1st) but is it just me or is the opening song of yuyu hakusho different in English from the Japanese version I feel even the music is slightly different but yeah urameshi is the best love how he's like always talking trash my little sister even used to have a crush on him which I approved of

You'll get a lot of flak for watching a dub but generally the anime community is in agreement that this is the best dub out there. I normally only watch subbed but FMAB is really really good dubbed.

Well I guess my vote didn't count, because I would not have voted for any dub. I am sure it is a great dub, but I will never watch one. Not trying to put you guys down or anything, just saying I'm surprised and sad that I'll be skipping this one. Great anime though, hope you two enjoy it.

I'm usually a sub person when it comes to anime overall, but FMAB's dub is definitely one of the few exceptions for me as the dub is just as good as the sub. Also the difference between FMA and FMAB is that FMAB closely follows the manga whereas FMA at one point diverges from the manga since at the time it ran out of source material to adapt so they had to make their own thing up. And this first episode is also anime original but it did a fantastic job introducing all the characters and what this world of alchemy was like. Overall, I can't wait to take this journey with you girls! I can already see a lot of laughs and feels coming from the both of you :)
