2019-02-13 20:50:43 +0000 UTCAnd just like that, Ymir was literally "reborn that night"! One of my top favorite animated moments of AoT!! Everything from the animation to the music to Ymir's expression of utter joy and awe at her second chance was just beautifully done. I also love how much we understand Ymir as a character now. It makes so much sense now why she was so hard on people like Sasha and Historia. I mean, who knew better than Ymir about being fake and living a lie? She literally lived it and was punished severely for it. With that said, I found it so messed up that Ymir thought she was being punished just because she felt needed when that was the most human feeling to have. Overall, this was a fantastic episode and one of my favorites of S2! And again, Ymir is my freckle goddess <3

I'm proud of them for avoiding any more insidious spoilers from people eager to 'educate' them on everything they're missing. An organic reaction is all we need, and I love it. They'll catch whatever they've missed in time. Can't wait for them to reach the finale and enter season 3 proper!
