I will get on discord soon. But first, I have a Dell Inspiron 3480 laptop bought 3-4 years back. Will it work with this? Also planning to get a better Desktop to do heavy video graphics using NVIDIA card. Any suggestion on what I should look for in such a desktop?

Emkayoo

dont give up! haha.. it just that in Discord I can help you out easier. If you can get over there then we can screenshare and I will be able to see your computer and figure out whats going on

Gary

I am too old for this. I guess I will let go of the $6 I spent. I will look elsewhere for a smart editor.

Tried to install on my desktop as well as my laptop. Installed miniconda and Python. Still having issues. Even uninstalled everthing, removed files and rebooted, then tried reinstalling. Also how do you install Torch 2.5 (It says torch 2.5.1+cu118 is incompatible). What's a 'discord' and how do you go over there?

Emkayoo

Yes you have a polluted system unfortunately. If you come over to the discord I can try to help you clean it up. This is why virtual environments are so important

Now the issue is with this: Attempting uninstall: torchvision Found existing installation: torchvision 0.19.1 Uninstalling torchvision-0.19.1: Successfully uninstalled torchvision-0.19.1 ERROR: pip's dependency resolver does not currently take into account all the packages that are installed.
