Jolyne's VA (both Japanese and English), many other VAs are all huge fans and desperately wanted these roles. Part 6 is incredible, and you'll see why Araki is said to have had a late period renaissance with Part 6 and Part 7 soon.

At one time a few years back she was asked if she would want to voice Jolyne in an adaptation and she said that she wouldn’t get that and instead she’d want to be one of the characters supporting Jolyne.
