slight spoilers so pls dont read if you dont want to get spoiled but you're 100% correct and next episode will show why she is in the best defensive situation. everyone else is typically done when they get pulled out the nape but not the WHT :)

From what I gathered, The war hammer is literally just the crystal. The figure Eren was fighting is just an extension of its hardening and also everything it creates.

Oddly enough, the only Marleyian's death I cared for were the guards Sasha killed. They were too good for this world.

Something to consider: You guys said that the Warhammer's shifter not residing in the nape made her extra vulnerable. I'd say, if she was actually in the nape, Erin would have killed her immediately, and Mikasa for sure would have killed her with her opening volley of EIGHT thunder spears. Being out of the nape saved her life twice, and if she had a backup to watch the shifter, she's a powerhouse. Even if the cord gets cuts, she's still capable of resummoning that titan without leaving her shell.

Y'all reacted to connie exactly how I expected y'all to lol but this episode is one of those situations where not knowing your past means your doomed to repeat it. When gabi asks why did udo and zofia have to die if only she knew. If both sides fully knew the truth I'm sure things could've turned out differently.

I love how in episode 2 Porco was calling Reiner weak and needed rescuing from the island and this episode was basically him realizing: "ok I get it"

Fun fact, the Tybur kid's toys and dolls were in Eren's dream way back in season 1 episode 1
