2021-02-20 04:32:17 +0000 UTCYeah, it's implied that Zaheer was already dangerous as shit before he got Air Bending, which is why he's in cell in the middle of nowhere with rotating guards etc. So it's not that he's all of a sudden mastered Air Bending, he was just good at martial arts before that and incorporated Air Bending into his usual fighting style.

And Ozai is a badass, intimidating as hell, but doesn't have the same depth as the rest.....and then there's Unalaq lol. Who tbf, i found interesting at first but then as LOK Book 2 went on he became.....egh.

Jus wanna note that Zaheer is soo proficient at Airbending right away bcuz he seems to have been a boss of a martial artist b4 his imprisonment. His moves didn't appear to look like traditional bending& more like a dude who knows how to fight& used those skills to overwhelm the white lotus guards. Great reaction as always 👏🏾

2021-02-19 13:30:10 +0000 UTCin my opinion this is the greatest season in the avatar series as a whole between ATLA/LOK I love how ep 1 of this season shows korra's growth as a person. season 1 korra would have used force to get buddy off the bridge but she handled it with so much compassion and empathy. this is who she evolved into and its beautiful to see. all the hate korra gets is only from season 2. to rap this up people that hate korra only look at her in season 1 and 2 and just ignore the growth after. she only gets better from here on out hope u love it. PS.....LOVE U TO LADYS KEEP IT UP AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE BEST SEASON IN AVATAR HISTORY

2021-02-19 13:00:02 +0000 UTCthe president is trash and yay new airbenders! i still think korra should have closed the portals by the end of this episode though. bam - new airbenders and no spirit vines and less likely for evil humans to try to fight/disrupt/use spirits. i personally wouldnt trust humans to coexist with spirits all at once at this age of modernization

Tenzin and Korra, name a mentor / student relationship more iconic? I really love this new more mature Korra and it feel earned after all the challenges she's had in the past. I fully agree with every moment of sassiness from her in this episode. Also her with the cool new blue glider shows she has become more adept at air bending beyond just punching air.
