Ita interesting getting an episode focused soley on side characters, along with 2 new ones. Sad that Hollyhock has that trauma and anxiety lingering in her. Pete-repeat was a great help. Him repeating that Bojack story to her sucks. Sometimes its impossible to sleeping dogs lie.

which is nuts to me timing wise bc tbh if he wasnt convinced to keep quiet about the gina situation im sure he would have confessed to some of these other situations before he went to rehab (which ultimately might have made for a better rehab experience). now he's trying to move on and the past is catching up which looks and feels worse haha

Hope you're doing better imon!
Also I really the intro as it relates to this being the last season. Like all the previous ones were like fun times or mundane times but they all always ended up with him falling in the pool and possibly drowning. Ignoring all the bad stuff and questionable stuff he did but still knowing that it's causing him to sink.
Then you get to this season where the intro is nothing but flashbacks to some of the worst shit he's done in his past and he just has to address it all without alcohol.

The reporters are a riff off of old timey 1930’s screwball comedies like “His Girl Friday”, which is about two fast talking witty reporters who fall in love.

No fear! There’s a lot of cool positive stuff coming still. Some really wholesome Diane stuff.
I like to think about yhe reporters in a meta way, how there must’ve been one or two writers who just thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Those nails are really cool. I could never pull that off, I mean of course I would look great but I would also cut myself to ribbons. I manage to cut myself with my own stubby nails somehow.

Yeah it sucks because you know BoJack is doing better and likely won’t go down a bad path again, but his victims never really got any justice either. They were kind of just left behind to deal with the mess. He’s been trying to move forward for a while (he even said that to Diane in their fight during the Philbert premiere), but he never truly took responsibility for the hurt he’d caused. These episodes are simply the culmination of his past actions.
