I was impressed with how quickly Kyle made the Gemini Coven connection when Jo said she comes from a dysfunctional family. The Kai/Jo reveal was a game changer for sure – automatically took from random love interest to potential important character.

I don’t know what it is about the writers of this show and thinking constant internal conflicts are what make a couple interesting to watch? I think it’s because I’m older now since the show aired but the Steroline and Delena angst is just so…tired. I’m glad they didn’t go that route with Alaric and Jo.

I am one of those people that saw the potential of Caroline and Stefan from seasons 2-5 but by season 6 I was over it because in my opinion it was taking them way too long to get together if they are going to. They also lost chemistry over the seasons.
