The Bennet witches hail from Salem, don’t think they’ve even been a part of any coven. They are powerful enough to stand on their own. It’s children being killed so that’s why the priest was concerned. Marcel can speak to Klaus the way he does because he knows that Klaus wouldn’t be able to kill him.
