2023-06-20 00:45:28 +0000 UTC@Lisa All it takes is one mistake on her part or a sneaky plan on the witches part and they'd have her, no matter how strong a character is in TVD or Originals we've all seen them take L's. If the witches came up with the plan to use the boy to lure her to someplace where they had a trap in play, they might succeed in taking Davina, or some other ploy. We've seen powerful characters in both TVD and Originals get overly confident and then lose, or get outplayed or outsmarted, it isn't impossible that Davina might get tricked or manipulated by the witches into a trap. Brute force isn't their only option, it was one they employed this time. Marcel does use Davina, but he also clearly cares for her, and doesn't want to risk the witches getting her and killing her. So far 6 or more months (I think I forgot how much time) has passed since the beginning of the ritual, it is a very slow process of the witches losing their powers. If she is walking around on her own all this time even after the elders died all it takes is her to make one mistake, or them to outplay her one time, in order for her to be taken. She would need to flawlessly beat their every attempt at taking her, foresee every manipulation, curse, hex, poison, powerful artifacts, chloroform, bash to the back of the head, or trap set by the witches, constantly and every day until the powers are gone for good, OR she can hide out in the church safehouse with the protection of the head vampire and human factions until there isn't a powered coven of witches actively desperately needing her death.

2023-05-29 16:21:24 +0000 UTC@Lisa Pertaining to her hate for Marcel, the threat isn't eliminated though, it makes sense for Marcel to still keep her hidden away as we just saw in this episode. Even without the ancestors, the rest of the witches are more than willing to take Davina captive despite not knowing the Harvest Reaping spell as we just saw, and would likely be willing to give it their best shot at finishing the ritual despite the lack of knowledge, likely killing Davina permanently in the process and failing. From the witches point of view: worst case scenario, the woman who they view as having betrayed them dies, they fail the ritual, keep slowly losing their magic and move away to escape being powerless in a city run by vampires. Best case scenario, they manage to stumble their way through finishing the ritual, get their magic empowered, the dead Harvest girls come back, and Davina (their perceived betrayer who abandoned the ritual and then snitched on witches using magic causing their deaths) is no longer all-powerful, just a normal witch again.

It’s her life for crying out loud if she wants to leave she should have the right. And the only reason she didn’t like them from the beginning all has to do with Marcel saying The Originals are bad. Everything she did to The Originals at first was all bcuz Marcel told her they were bad news. And she thought he was her friend so of course she trusted him. And this whole thing about Klaus saying if Davina isn’t a threat to us and is on our side then we’re good”. She’s not trying to be on anyone’s side she just wants to be free now that Agnes is dead she just wants her life back all she has wanted ever since the Harvest happened was to get out of town. But Marcel at first had good reasons but then of course him not telling her about Agnes being dead yeah that’s not good at all. Even though I know Marcel loves and cares for her but he should’ve let her know what was going instead of keeping her in the dark. And Marcel isn’t the boss of her anyway he helped her bcuz she was in need of help at the time but now things are changing. And once Agnes died what he should’ve done was try to figure out how to get Davina out of town and send her off with some money with Klaus not knowing till it was too. And Klaus keeps threatening her and threatening her with Timothy like what the hell do you expect her to do. Bow down and give up and surrender. From a fan of this series I love Klaus and The Mikaelson Family but if this was reality and I was Davina I’d be saying a Big Fuck You this is my life and you don’t have the right to control me and the power she has I wouldn’t be going down w/o a fight of course though I’d have to be clever since the Originals can’t die that easily. And Klaus being a diabolical strategist.

He was an innocent bystander who could’ve been compelled to forget everything and he gained nothing from Tim’s death. I would’ve accepted it if S2-3 TVD Klaus did it, but it doesn’t make sense for Klaus as he is now to do that.

2023-05-26 16:52:28 +0000 UTC@Ivy I didn’t say davina created the originals but Esther the originals mom created the vampires and Bonnie didn’t die bringing Jeremy back she dead using expression, dark magic and spirit magic at the same time that’s what killed her not her trying to bring Jeremy it was all the magic at one time was too much because she was using 3 different sources of power and Bonnie took kol down when he tried to attack her in the school and he wasn’t a ghost and Bonnie took klaus down when klaus tried to kill Elena and Jeremy in the house so she was able to bring kol and klaus to their knees in pain and drag klaus through the house like he was a little kid

We saw Bonnie do it using expression, and we saw Esther do it when she channeled the Bennett line.

Wayyy back in season 2 of TVD Elijah said that a witch can kill any supernatural creature including Originals which makes them the most powerful. And Davina has the power of 4 witches blessed by the ancestors.

But they can while them out as we see time and time again, klaus was even able to with stand his mother and power through the pain and she created him. 2023-05-26 16:44:15 +0000 UTCI mean me saying this is not a spoiler but witches created the vampires so the maker is always stronger, like a witch can’t be compelled and witches can put protection spells on themselves to keep them alive we saw that in season 2 when they thought Bonnie died . And Davina has the power of 4 or 5 witches in one person so that makes her super strong and yes the originals are strong but a witch made the originals so the vampire vs witch thing it’s always gonna be the witches when they have a lot of power I mean a regular witch can take down any vampire but Bonnie with expression was able to take klaus and kol down with no problem I mean Shane said in season 4 that the witches are the architect of the supernatural the witches made the doppelgänger’s ,the other side and vampires , the cure , daylight rings, the five hunters , I mean the originals are just 1000 years old but Silas and questyia are from the biblical times so vampires wasn’t even a thing when the witches were alive
