New Movie Reaction System!
Added 2022-02-22 20:58:08 +0000 UTCHey everyone! We wanted to let you know we'll be changing up how we do our movie uploads. We obviously enjoy and will continue with the MCU, but also want variety on the channel and a chance for other films to shine.
As MCU will always win in the polls, we decided after every 2 polls, we will watch something of our choice (or something on previous polls that we wanna give a shot). This means every third week/triweekly there won't be a movie poll (or if there is, it's because we are undecided between our choices).
We are choosing a triweekly system for this instead of biweekly, so that it doesn't take forever to complete a series like MCU.

Sorry a bit late to this.. love the idea ofc..I feel other movies should definitely get a chance.. although I feel a middle ground can be reached between Josh and Elizabeth.. again ofc it's an opinion which you may or may not like.. why don't you guys choose 2 movies that you really want to watch in that 3rd week and just put those 2 movies to the poll and watch the one that wins the poll. Then watch the movie that didn't win in the next 3 weeks. In that way you guys have your preference and voters get to vote which one they want to watch first so they get to vote at least once in this way.. just a thought 😊

I actually disagree w Josh (sorry Josh!) and LIKE the idea of rather than a poll, you three just choose the movie, that way you're trying new movies of personal preference. I feel like a poll will just lead to the same problem, franchises and blockbusters dominating the lesser known movies - not a bad thing, but your choice will make it more interesting.

2022-02-22 22:45:40 +0000 UTCWe'll see how it goes and adjust accordingly. We generally don't plan on picking something random and out of the blue. The goal is to choose stuff that are in the poll options, or being suggested in comments. Some might, or might not win even if MCU was taken out.

2022-02-22 22:05:00 +0000 UTCWouldn't it make more sense if you just put up a movie poll with the MCU not included every third week? That way you have variety but you're also keeping your fanbase somewhat satisfied that they still get to choose what's coming. Idk, just my opinion of course
