Added 2025-08-19 10:46:51 +0000 UTC[A/N: I think I'm gonna cry... I've spent the past three days rewriting the latter half of this chapter. Just so you understand, this is the third version... If it wasn't because I promise you guys I'd post today, I wouldn't have finished it today. 4770 words... Honestly, with the chapter's current length, I don't know if I should post entire chapter anymore. Not on the free platform at least. Maybe cut the chapters into two parts when they're longer than 4000 words? It's not that writing a lot bothers me, but with how long my chapters have become, it's so hard to accumulate new advance chapters. That means those readers outside of patreon only see that I 'only' provide 10 advance chapters when each of them are pretty much twice as long than when I started writing 2 years ago. It's clearly less enticing for them. I don't know. I'm just rambling from exhaustion.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this chapter with a bit more direct intrigue than before.
