Poll

Hello everyone!
I'm running a little poll, do we need fantasy models (you can comment below).
Good luck to all!

Comments

you have a huge public for that… maybe new followers ahahaha at least for a month :)

Alexandre Ducrocq

I voted yes even though I’m conflicted on it. A) I love your sci-fi stuff and want that to continue at the same regularity, but B) I don’t mind some good fantasy stuff (like Witch Hunters) so I’d probably like whatever you come up with. Also, if you start to feel creatively blocked by having to do sci fi constantly when a genre-change could keep you going/give you a recharge, then I think it’d be better for you if you did add some variety. Ultimately I think it’s up to you on a personal level… we all love what you’ve made and want more. :-)

Joey Jar Jar Junior Shabadoo

I'm indifferent to you making fantasy stuff, but Mordheim style stuff would be pretty sweet.

Riley Sacdpraseuth

I think if you do models like your " Interrogator Solomon Bane " you'd hit 2 birds with one stone. Fantasy & Scifi in one package. Or do a whole conversion bits package of different heads, arms or hands with different accessories, etc., you might even mix in the chaos bit or 2 ( tentacles , mushrooms, minions, familiars etc.. )

Zrune lord

I love fanatasy - I prefer Old World "traditional" square based unit stacks, but I'd be down for faction based similar to Artisan Guild or Ghamak. May I suggest a little sample of what you have in mind - maybe a single model or two? Either way i'm totally in :)

Scott Woods

Though i voted for no this would get a solid yes from me 😅

Tlactar

Id love to see fantasy! Maybe since the majority of people voted no you could do 1 per month? Or do a different subscription level that includes extra fantasy models :)

Grey Company Minis

I am here for scifi only so if the number of releases stayed the same but was a mix of scifi and fantasy I would probably stop my monthly sub as it would be less value to me that the current offering.

Gareth Pemberton

I voted for no fantasy, but IF you do fantasy Mordheim would be amazing! :)

Niels Kristensen

I voted against fantasy models, only because I love the sci-fi models so much. I wouldn't want to see them replaced or compromised in quality. On the other hand, if your fantasy models are as good as your sci-fi......yeah I'd want some. Perhaps you could release one or two as a proof of concept and then make a poll? People's opinions might be different then.

Sotirios Evangelou

I was thinking about that)

Jukko Malkin

I mean they sold an extension without the minis, people are watching because the ones needed cost 120$ something...

Alexandre Ducrocq

Well, just make the set of minis that they want us to buy for cursed city and that's all for me :)

Alexandre Ducrocq

I'm thinking about it, it seems to be the best and most convenient option

Jukko Malkin

You make great sculpts so it would be cool to see your take on some fantasy. I'd love to see a model mixed in once in a while but make what you want-- your work is in a league of its own as far as I'm concerned.

Melkor

What about Mordheim type warbands? You already have some figures that could be modified to become sisters of sigmar or other human types.

Andoni

Maybe I’ll make a squad, but only one.

Jukko Malkin

I'm thinking about kickstarter or other such platforms.

Jukko Malkin

I try to do it if possible, sometimes it's just technically difficult for me.

Jukko Malkin

I don't think I can pull a second Patreon. I don’t have much free time.

Jukko Malkin

Steampunk is unlikely yet, unless dwarves on balloons)

Jukko Malkin

No doubt ;) Thanks for all the great work!!

Vandestris

It’s more of a marketing research)

Jukko Malkin

I hadn't forgotten about them.

Jukko Malkin

My friend, who made vehicles for me (watcher and pacer), recently had a kid, and now he’s busy with his family. So if there is a release with robots, it will not be in the near future.

Jukko Malkin

Thank you)

Jukko Malkin

The makers cult is doing penal legion stuff

Aubrey Ramage Lay

There's a few guys doing some amazing fantasy minis at the moment but the thing is..... Do you feel like doing fantasy miniatures???

Mick

The real question is do you WANT to do fantasy stuff too?

Goodwin Games

I will say it again no one is doing penal legion, at least in the scale it should be done. they are the biggest guard army in the game, you can use any weapon design you want, adhumans are big, remember their is more than just humans in the penal legion, adhumans may not have freedom but they will server in the penal legions. mixed groups ganger groups

De

We don't need fantasy models, but I realise that producing the same content day in and day out could feel stifling. That being the case I would absolutely love to see some fantasy stuff from you. Replacing a release or two every month with some fantasy sculpts to stop you from getting bored would be awesome, especially if it follows the same gritty theme as your sci-fi stuff.

Allan Rodda

no doubt you would do some great fantasy models (especially a witch hunter warband ) but im already in alot of patreons for fantasy and none for guard so might be pointless

mortdeathminis

It would be cool to see fantasy added in the way you did Solomon Bane. When you do a single character sci-fi model, push out a fantasy loadout for that same model. Keep the unit releases sci-fi.

Luke Weinhagen

Polls suck. :) Here is hope for a separate patreon or ks.

Deturnation

I voted no even though I'm sure you would make an awesome job (Old World). What would be really good is having more bits and existing parts of your models being separated from torsos and legs (like the loincloth from the gift) to give us more modularity to mix between your models and others

Spurius_Ligustinus

I think that your work is amazing would like you to stick with your current style. However if you had the time and with out burning yourself out a 2nd pateron doing old school Fantasy would be awesome.

Can a goblin paint

I really like your style and would love to see what you can do in a fantasy theme (old world for me not AoS). I would like it though as a separate Patreon (which I would support too) as some people mentioned above, so I voted no.

Uwe

Why not sprinkle some fantasy models in there, every once in a while when you feel like it or have good idea worth pursuing? I'd love to see that.

Daniel Fiala

I think that there's a lot of fantasy (and I prefer over sci fy being fair.. I'm only for your take in that king of minis) but I would love to see at least how do you do some...so for me 1 at the month to get the taste would be perfect.. even maybe some mini that it's both (some of them you change the weapons for more fantasy/steampunk ones and can be a fantasy/Steampunk mini).. my 2 cents.. but I understand that people it's mainly here for the "proxys".. I'm for your take on them

Antonio Miguel Martorell Ferriol

I love democracy ;)

Bartosz Brzeziński

Honestly I'd be down, but I crave more airborne guardsmen.

Vandestris

I personally think it would be awesome if you made some fantasy figs. More great models the better. You might not be getting an accurate read by asking current patreons though since they might just like Sci-Fi only in general. Might expand your audience (and patreons) with more variety. *shrug*

Philip Grande

Something heavy would be great

DAO-Miniatures

So I would say yes, but with an asterisk. "Fantasy" is a very broad term and I'd only be interested in certain subsets of that genre. Definitely willing to consider it based on more specific details, however.

Gregory Morris

Maybe new robots models!! something heavy!!!

Oliver Navarrete

That should be great to get some alternative models for Warcry. As an exemple, I am trying to find some models for my Scions of the Flame, unsuccessfully so far. Also, I would love to see a warband for Mordheim, like some cool Corsairs or Witch hunters. Then, maybe 10 to 20% of your production could be condidered to be dedicated to Fantasy.

ESPEROU Damien

I just love your sci-fi stuff so much, I'd hate to see less of it. But, you do you my friend, your sculpts are phenomenal!

Mark Kamm

I voted no solely because I just typically don’t like fantasy models as much, but if you feel like that’s what you want to do I think you definitely should!

Chase

I worry that if you did fantasy stuff as well it would impact on your other creations purely due to time constraints on one person. I've seen other patrons struggle to keep up with the work commitments that producing 2 lines of models can put on a person. Don't want you to burn yourself out as your Sci fi stuff is really top notch. For those reasons I've voted no, however having said that if it's something you want to try go for it. You have the skills and talent no doubt just don't forget about you and your family's wellbeing.

Cilla McCarthy

Completely agree. if I had to choose I'd choose sci-fi. But given the option i will support Fantasy models, just don't want to see it cut in to sci-fi.

Mortcog

I fully agree with Derek.

Acguy

I'm a YES vote, though I'm thrilled with the sci fi stuff and want more of it. If you pivot to fantasy, or do some of both, I guess it's a matter of what you'd be covering for that...humans or bipedal races or monsters. Could be good for a second tier or separate sub and I'd consider joining it.

morgan light

Love your sci-fi models, if you did Fantasy as another patreon or tier that didn't slowdown the sci-fi releases then I'd be happy to support!

Derek Goddard

I would love to see what you could do with some fantasy minis too!

Simon Nielsen

But if you want to do fantasy, that's cool too.

Scott Van Scheik

I voted no, if only because you do great work doing what you're doing.

Scott Van Scheik

Your sci-fi stuff is great, we are happy with that :)
