Personal Update - The Escape

Hi! I hope everything is going alright.

I'll be honest with you - last couple of days are nighmare, if you think about it (and I don't want to think about it just yet).

If you follow the current politics, you know what's happening in Eastern Europe. And if you follow me here, you probably now that I'm on really bad side of things. I'm in "RU" country.

We tried to leave the country half a year ago, but you know how it happens - sometimes problems just keep coming. Health issues, prices, burden of current events, doomscrolling.

3 days ago this country announced mobilization. Nobody expected that. And believe me when I say it, it's a total horror. It's not just people whose been in army, like they say, it's everyone. Men can't leave their houses, literally. I wouldn't believe it if someone tells me something like this, but it's true. It's madness, and it seems like everyone around want to escape.

So, me and my husband decided to leave everything behind in just 3 days. We have many personal things, a board game collection, PCs. And it's just physical items, we also have to leave our relatives too.

Tonight is evening of day number 2. We sell almost everything cheap, or just gift some things to others. Day and night we dealt with problems, and constantly look at news at the same time (there are rumors that boarders would be closed by 28).

In about 48 hours we should go through the border, hoping that luck would be on our side. It doesn't mean that if we fail, it would be the end. But it would be really bad.

So, just wanted to let you know what is going on in some other part of the world, for history purpose. Let's hope everything would be good at the end.
