Re: the blood droplets to track if a time skip occurred or not I appreciate that it's in the OP. At some point before this episode, I'd guessed that seeing them in the OP meant that when the OP does the cool thing that JJBA does with OPs, it'll relate to the blood drop and the time skip. Like, there is clearly a time skip in the OP.

2020-12-29 22:14:47 +0000 UTCEven though Diavolo and Doppio share the same body, each has the different physical traits. Doppio looks more like a kid, while Diavolo looks like a full fledge adult. Risotto Nero mentioned something about it during their fight.

2020-12-26 02:28:58 +0000 UTCThe scene with Polnareff and Diavolo is a callback to the Dio vs Polnareff scene where they're on the stairs. Diavolo being at the bottom of the steps is just symbolism that reflects back to his name, which means Devil, which you guessed earlier. Dio was at the top of the steps which his name means he's a God. As for why Diavolo looks so different from Doppio, it was explained a few times with Risotto and the Fortune Teller. He's got 2 personalities, Doppio and Diavolo. Diavolo is the controlling one and Doppio actually has no idea that he's actually the boss. Also, his multi personality disorder is so bad that when Diavolo takes over, his appearance changes greatly. Think of it like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde or Smeagol and Gollum.
