It was actually in #the-basement for a couple of days. I was supposed to get to editing it on Sunday, I think... maybe it was Saturday. Honestly, the days blend together; either way, it didn't happen lol
This one is mostly focused on Ryan and Mia enjoying each other's company in the bedroom. With her photoshoot trigger being the catalyst for the entire situation. I'm moving forward with the secondary plot on the side a bit, but don't expect that to show up much since it'll be a good few chapters before that becomes relevant with Ryan's immediate story.
The 8-ball's game itself is going to have a little shake-up, though. Consider it an update or patch, as many games receive. Some triggers are going to be weakened, some might be upgraded, and some new elements or types of cards will be added.
I have some ideas, but I'd want to shoot them by you guys first to get an idea of some opinions. It's going to happen. That's not changing, but how it changes, I'm up to talk about. But, off the top of my head, triggers like the one that makes his mother mimic whatever picture is shown, or the punishment trigger, are extremely overpowered.
It makes total sense for Ryan to abuse them since they are objectively better than the other triggers. But that does get stale from the reader and writer's perspective, so some triggers definitely can use a shake-up.
