The haunting isn't so bad. I've asked the ghost to stop opening the back door for safety reasons, and they've stopped. But they still like to walk around the house late at night. :)

And the story of Hob Gadling was one of my favorites from the original comics and they captured it perfectly. LOL about the space heater, what's it like living in a haunted house? My house is 98 - I think I'm gonna throw a centennial house party in 2025. :-) Boy you said it about the 1889 to 1989 gap... what a massive leap. Like two different worlds. I also thought that was a great touch about the conversation. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but the way I see it with Desire is that they are simply jealous of Dream. After all, our desires may motivate us or pull us in certain directions, but our dreams are what truly inspire us. Desires are transient, in many ways. Dreams, as ephemeral as they are, are somehow more permanent. I think they are a deeper part of who we are. And I think Desire is jealous of that. And isn't jealousy born of desire?
