Welcome Back

Hey everyone ^_^

Well, here we are, I'm happy to be back here and I hope you are too :) I'm pleased to say I have finished the rewrite, and also made a lot of progress writing the story forward.

Chapters resume posting on the regular M-W-F schedule tomorrow!

Also, I want to apologise because, I said my intentions were to try and post the rewritten stuff after about two weeks. But you'll notice I'm doing it literally the day before lol. It turns out tendonitis doesn't heal quickly or easily. I've been using dictation since I started the break, and I've found that fine for getting a first draft onto the page, but obviously I need to go and actually edit that using my hands. In the end I opted to leave the editing part as long as possible to give my tendons as much time as I could. Still not totally better but I have improved a lot, and I'm going to keep on using this method of dictation for first draft, then editing to finalise, which should allow me to keep up my typical writing pace without putting too much stress on them while they continue to heal. Anyway, enough about me!

I'm going to make two separate posts for the rewrite.

One will be for current/old patreons who saw all the old material, and therefore you also saw all the stuff in the castle. There's no need to read that again because it's totally unchanged, so the one I put up for you guys has that cut out. It will stretch from just before the bot 'woke up' to when Nicolai went out into the jungle then returned for the Reckoning ritual, which also hasn't changed apart from the odd line here or there.

The other post will be for anyone who joins in the next couple weeks, and the only difference is it will include all the castle stuff, so people can easily read through the whole area in order. I'm make a note on it that anyone joining from RR should read that one. Hopefully this doesn't end up being too confusing lol. I considered removing all the old stuff, but I kinda feel I should leave it there for posterities sake.

Anyway, I hope you like what I've done with the bot, it's a bit simpler but I think in a good way, and allows for some interesting stuff down the line with the Modules/Mask.
