And we have the return of "Dark Dan." Oh, he needs some therapy, STAT! Oh, and let's not forget Linda, who is processing some news of her own.

I have Hazbin Hotel on the brain. Have you seen it? It's a great take on the Lilith/Lucifer relationship.

Except for this lying situation, Lucifer has put Chloe on a pedestal and can only see her qualities, even finds beauty in her flaws the few times he sees some. In his mind, she's the only reason he can think of of wanting to be a good "man", he doesn't see that he already is regardless. The writers are pushing Chloe's character into that "saintly" corner, it's annoying but needed with what's coming, especially with this new character that showed up at the end of the episode. In short, everything is going down a dark path which will become way more bad before it will become better. And, think about it, does apple mean Lilith? About the prophecy, yes it's strange but it's the backbone of the story for the whole season. On a side note, Linda is traumatized by her pregnancy and we'll understand where all of this behavior comes from eventually but not this season. Dark Dan, also gets annoying but they don't have a story for him this season but will in season 5 and 6 so it seems to me that they just "parked" him in stubborn anger for season 4. The comic relief moments are few and far between in this season but there are a few gems coming up.
