Resident Alien 2x9 | Full Episode Watch Along

Autopsy

The episode that highlights how differently Asta and I would react in certain situations.

We have a lot going on in this episode, starting with the attempt on Harry's life, ravenous alien baby, Ben's needs for validation, the latest murder investigation, and Judy's cooter.

Actually, Judy's cooter really isn't that big of a storyline, I just makes me laugh to say it out loud. :)

Buckle up, y'all and let's go!

Nice to see somebody besides me commenting on these episodes! I do love how this show moves so effortlessly between silly and heartbreaking. I do agree, though, that they seem to have an awful lot of balls (not to mention one Cooter) in the air right now, and that can be dangerous. They've demonstrated an ability to juggle a lot of things pretty deftly so far, but yeah, it's a lot. At least you can't say it's boring or that "nothing happened" in this episode though, right? Harry's decision to alter Asta's memories of that night was remarkably human, but pretty likely ill-advised. The fallout with Jay is only one piece of it, and you can forgive Harry for not considering that because he didn't know about it. But what happens next time D'Arcy talks to Asta and wants to discuss their "secret?" It's going to get sticky pretty fast. Glad you survived the holidays, including your computer debacles, Anna, and so glad I was able to help with those, at least a little. If you would like to pursue things a little further with the old computer, I'm more than happy to continue with that project. Please don't hesitate if you're so inclined. You know where I am. 😊 And here's to 2025! It's going to be an .... interesting ... year. Let's hope that's all it is!

The character choices he makes are brilliant!.

Love Alan Tudyk in this show and in this ep. 'Dr Harry' is on-song. From his single knock to enter 'Mayor Snowflake's' office to his therapy session with She-who-must-be-obeyed and the Mayor. But then towards the end the character Harry's bravado and bluster start to slip and his human feelings start to emerge and the smooth transition by the actor is terrific and adds color to the previous 30 minutes of acting :-) Apart from Asta, the rest of the cast and their stories... they should come and go for laughs and drama.. but they don't seem to go quick ly enough. But give me more Alan and Sara! :-) PS: COOTER :-)
